How to Use This Catalog

Start Broad, Then Drill Down

  1. Browse dataset cards by theme or provider.
  2. Open a dataset and choose a category in its field browser.
  3. Select a field to inspect its definition, raw column name, input type and configured range.
  4. Search the value list by label or raw code. The landing-page explorer searches complete directories, including the largest lists. Dataset cards also offer numbered directory parts for large fields.

Search Tips

  • On the landing page, use Search Every Field to search names, categories, columns and configured value labels/codes across all datasets. The separate Search Every Field page provides a compact metadata index.
  • Within a dataset, the main search matches field names, categories and available value labels/codes.
  • The separate value search narrows options within the selected field.
  • Clear the search or choose All Categories to start again.

Reading the Dictionary

Value label is the source's readable option. Value code is the exact stored value. Repeated labels remain separate options when they have distinct codes.

Input type describes the audience-builder control, not the database storage type.

Min / max are configured numeric selection limits, not measured minima or maxima in the underlying data. Zero is preserved. Units require source confirmation when absent.

No predefined options means the schema does not supply a choice list; it does not mean the field contains no data.

Not documented identifies missing source definitions. We have not invented field meanings, units, fill rates or record counts.

Documentation Status

Source Reviewed: the current dataset narrative is approved in the source catalog and is not marked stale. This status does not certify every underlying record.

Source Draft: source-provided narrative has not completed source approval or is marked stale.

Schema Overview: the description was generated from configured field counts and categories because a reliable dataset narrative was unavailable.

Catalog themes and browsing categories are organizational aids. Original source categories remain in each field's Source Details.

Freshness and Availability

Catalog snapshot: October 3, 2026, America/Denver. This date describes when the metadata was checked, not when each dataset was refreshed.

All included datasets have isForMarketplace = true and enabled = true. Fields include hidden and export-related schema attributes for completeness. Dataset enablement does not guarantee availability of every field for filtering or export.

Record volume, fill rates, units, geographic coverage and refresh cadence are shown only when documented in the source; confirm selection-specific availability with BettrData.
