Overview
BettrData matchcodes are built using postal components via address standardization and normalized name components.
- If an address is different, the corresponding household and individual matchcodes will differ as well.
- For an address that is DPV=Y (USPS deliverable), an address matchcode will get you to the deliverable address without fail.
- For a non-deliverable address, the available address components are standardized and used to build a best representation of that address. In this scenario, given equal inputs, the process is deterministic.
- BettrData uses a proprietary algorithm to standardize given names and surnames and their semantic similarities. This process can be customized, including nickname resolution, etc.
