TailScale provides secure remote access to shared resources. It is free for small teams and easy to setup and use. It’s the most simple VPN solution for secure access to your BettrData environment.
- Download and install TailScale for your operating system or device at Downloads
- Locate the login option using the installed TailScale client. This is usually a task tray icon. If that’s not present, open the application from your applications menu and check again.
- Sign up for TailScale. The first account for an organization’s domain will be the main account and other users can be invited from there.
- Notify your BettrData.io contact of the TailScale email(s) you would like your BettrData environment shared with.
- You will receive a share link that each user will need to accept.
- You need to be an Owner, Admin, or IT admin of a tailnet in order to accept a shared node.
- BettrData will add the required users to your environment
- You will now be able to access your BettrData environment from anywhere you are logged in with TailScale. There are few if any consequences for leaving TailScale always logged in so you can always have immediate access to your resources.
