Files must be in a status of Convert Complete to be considered for purge from the system. Also, for files that have been purged, existing reports may be viewed in Run Convert, however running a new report on a purged file is not available.
You can follow purged files by going to Data Ops and next to the file status. Check the Warning Icon column for the trashcan icon. Click on the icon to display the Warning screen and details of the purge.
Files not eligible for purge:
- Unidentified,
- Waiting for review
- Converting files that are still in the pipeline
No_Purge Convert Schema
Hereās a tip that enables further customization of converted, non-convertible, and parent file retention using convert types from the Black List. Simply create a convert type of ānoPurgeā and include it as a selection on the Black List.
Admin > System Settings > Data Retention
This would then allow you to attach the convert type of ānoPurgeā to a particular file that you may not wish to purge. The file will remain indefinitely.
Data Ops > Manage > Edit File
Select the No_Purge Type. Save.
No_Purge can be added as a single Type
or as an addition to another one.
