Introduction

As part of set up of BettrData Select, a number of steps need to be performed to add or create an BD Select instance for onboarding or trial. The steps are listed below, depending on if this is a branch new instance, or an existing instance

Instance Specific Set up Steps

Existing Instance

For an existing instance, we will need make sure it has a version where BDS will work. This is version 3.0.0 or above.

New Instance

It is assumed that any new instances would be the latest stable version, which would be 3.0.0 and above

Common Setup Steps

Once a working instance is set up, there are a set of steps that all clients will need to have done. These include

1. Create a Snowflake Account, if not already created
2. Create a user and related tables and objects to access Snowflake
