Available in each top, right section of BD, is the option to customize the density view of the table.
There are 3 options available based on preference.
Default
- Purpose: Balanced view for general usage.
- Row Height: Usually 48px.
- Padding: Moderate padding around cells and text (e.g., 16px horizontal, 8–12px vertical).
- Font Size: Standard readable font (e.g., 14–16px).
- Use Case: Ideal for most users — offers good readability without consuming excessive screen space.
Comfortable
- Purpose: Emphasizes readability and clarity, more whitespace.
- Row Height: 56–64px or more.
- Padding: Increased padding (often 20px or more).
- Font Size: Equal or slightly larger than default.
- Use Case: Great for touch interfaces, accessibility, or when working with sparse data.
Compact
- Purpose: Maximize data on screen; minimal whitespace.
- Row Height: Typically 32–40px.
- Padding: Tight padding (e.g., 8px or less).
- Font Size: Often same as default, but could be slightly reduced (e.g., 12–14px).
- Use Case: Ideal for power users or large datasets where screen real estate is at a premium.
