First Time Login

1. Check your inbox for the onboarding email.
1. Look for an email with the subject line “Your BettrData.io temporary password.” This email includes your temporary password and a registration link.
2. Open the registration link.
1. Click the link in the email and enter the temporary password provided.
3. If you do not see the email:
1. Check your spam or junk folders.
2. If it is still missing, confirm with your IT team that emails containing external links are not being blocked.
4. Create your new password.
1. You will be prompted to set and save a new password.
5. Log in to BettrData.
1. After saving your new password, you will be redirected to the BettrData login page. Log in using your email address and newly created password.

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)

• BettrData requires all users to use MFA when logging into BettrData to ensure appropriate security measures.
• After logging in for the first time, you will see the following screen to initialize the setup of MFA:

• There are multiple authentication apps on the market that are free and easy to use.
• If you do not have a preferred app, here is a link to Google’s authentication app which is available on both apple and android devices:

• Once you’ve scanned the code, your authenticator will ask you to save this login and will then provide the initial TOTP code to verify the connection.
• After this step, on all future logins you will see the following page in BettrData asking for your MFA code.

• Your MFA code will be provided on your saved BettrData connection in your authenticator app.
• The code is available for login for 30 seconds until a new code is provided by your app.
• Enter this code and hit “Submit” and you will have access to your BettrData platform.
